In June 2023, the world’s largest filled-aperture radio telescope is set to be completed in China. FAST is located in the mountainous countryside of Guizhou, China and will be used to explore the far reaches of the universe. The telescope will be able to observe distant objects such as pulsars, quasars, and even galaxies. FAST is expected to revolutionize the world of astronomy and take us closer to understanding the origins of the universe.
