10 Potentially Hazardous City-Killing Asteroids Left Unchecked
According to a recent study from the European Space Agency (ESA), there are potentially dangerous, city-killing asteroids that have been left undetected. The study estimates that there are currently over 1,000 asteroids larger than 140 meters in diameter that are still orbiting close to Earth’s atmosphere. These asteroids are of particular concern due to their size and potential to cause catastrophic damage if they were to hit Earth. The study also found that the number of undetected asteroids has increased over the past few years due to the advances in technology and detection methods. Although the risk of an asteroid collision is low, it is important to be aware of the potential threat these asteroids pose to our planet.
