NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) has been making incredible strides in the search for exoplanets since its launch in 2018. Now, 3 years later, TESS has discovered thousands of planets and continues to uncover more with each day. Thanks to the discoveries by TESS, astronomers are now looking forward to the launch of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) in 2023, which will enable us to gain further insights into the planets that TESS has found. With the power of JWST, astronomers will be able to study the atmospheres of these distant worlds and search for signs of life.
