Is it Possible to Power a Space Telescope with Solar Panels?
I recently came across an article discussing NASA’s plan to use solar panels to power the Roman space telescope, set to launch in 2024. This got me thinking about the feasibility and challenges of using solar energy in space. How will the panels withstand radiation and temperature variations in space? Will they be able to provide enough power for the telescope to operate efficiently? I’m curious to learn more about the technology and engineering behind this ambitious project.
