This powerful storm is estimated to be about 2,500 miles across and is believed to have been raging for several years. The storm is made of bright clouds and is believed to be powered by internal heat from the planet itself, rather than by the sun. Scientists have been able to capture the storm in images using the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) telescope.
