Russia to Launch Lunar Mission this Friday after 8 Years of Preparation
On Friday, August 20th, Russia will launch its first mission to the moon in over 40 years! This mission, called Luna-25, will involve a robotic probe sent to explore the moon’s south pole. This mission will mark a significant milestone in Russia’s space exploration program, as it is the first of many missions that will explore and study the moon. It will also serve as an important step in the country’s plans to eventually establish a permanent presence on the moon. The Luna-25 mission is scheduled to launch at 9:05 am Moscow time from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. We wish the Russian space program all the best in the upcoming launch and look forward to seeing the results of their mission!
