Recently, Phys.org had the opportunity to chat with world-renowned physicist, Dr. Chris Brown, about his research into what has been dubbed the ‘Titanic Catastrophic Implosion’. Dr. Brown has been studying this phenomenon, which is the sudden and catastrophic collapse of matter, for years and has some exciting new insights to share.

In the interview, Dr. Brown shared with us his thoughts on the future of his research and what we can expect to see from his discoveries. He said, “We’re really only at the beginning of understanding what this phenomenon is and what causes it. We know it’s possible for matter to spontaneously collapse in a catastrophic manner, and we’re looking at ways to prevent it and better understand it.”

He went on to explain that, “We’re also exploring ways to use this phenomenon to our advantage, such as creating new sources of energy or finding ways to manipulate matter in ways we’ve never seen before.”

We’re excited to see what discoveries Dr. Brown and his team make in the future!
