The study examined data from over 10,000 children in 11 countries and found that those who received high-quality early childhood education had significantly higher attainment in elementary and secondary school than those who did not. The study also found that the positive impacts of high-quality early childhood education were still evident up to eight years after the initial intervention. These findings demonstrate the lasting power of investing in early childhood education and the long-term benefits it can have for students.
