The researchers found that a diet consisting of 12.5% crude protein was optimal for broiler chickens, with no significant difference in growth performance, nutrient digestibility, or blood parameters compared to a diet with 15% crude protein. These results suggest that a reduction in crude protein levels in broiler diets could be beneficial for both the environment and animal health.
