Astronomers have discovered a faint and ultra-diffuse dwarf galaxy located in the constellation of Cetus. This galaxy, called WISEA J180122.65-210820.0, is the faintest and least dense galaxy ever discovered in the local universe.

This newly discovered galaxy is a remarkable find, as it is incredibly faint and diffuse. It is estimated to have only one hundredth of the stars of the Milky Way, and is spread out over a region of space about the size of the Milky Way. It is thought to be made up of mostly old stars, with only a few young stars scattered throughout. Even though it is small, the galaxy could provide some interesting insight into the formation of the early universe.
