NASA is preparing to make history! On October 2023, the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft will reach its destination, the asteroid Bennu, and will become the first US mission to collect a sample of an asteroid and bring it back to Earth. This exciting mission will allow scientists to study the properties of asteroids and how they formed the early solar system. Additionally, the sample will help us better understand the organic molecules that are essential for the origin of life. We are curious to see what discoveries will come from this historic mission!
