NASA Delays Crewed Lunar Mission Artemis Until 2023
NASA has announced a delay of their highly anticipated crewed lunar mission, Artemis. Originally scheduled for 2024, the mission has been pushed back to 2028 due to the lack of funding and development progress. NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine stated that the date change is not due to any technical challenge, but rather due to the lack of resources. He also noted that the delay will help give the agency more time to work on the mission, which is currently estimated to cost around $28 billion.
