NASA JPL to Follow Psyche on its Outstanding Journey to the Asteroid Belt
NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is about to embark on their mission to explore a unique asteroid known as Psyche. This asteroid, made of mostly iron and nickel, is located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter and is believed to be the remnant core of an ancient planet. JPL is preparing to send a spacecraft to study this asteroid in order to gain a better understanding of what makes up the cores of terrestrial planets like Earth. This mission is sure to be an exciting journey of discovery as JPL continues to track the outstanding board of Psyche!
