NASA’s latest plan to use diamonds in the sky for their solar demonstration has certainly raised some eyebrows. The idea of creating diamond dust in the upper atmosphere to scatter sunlight and reduce the effects of climate change is certainly creative, but is it feasible? Scientists and the public alike are left wondering if this unconventional approach will actually be effective in combating the growing environmental crisis. While it’s certainly an interesting concept, only time will tell if diamonds truly are the solution to NASA’s solar demonstration dilemma.
