The future of space exploration is here! Last week, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced that its JUICE (Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer) mission is ready for launch and deployment. JUICE is set to explore the Jovian system, where it will study Jupiter and three of its icy moons—Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa. JUICE will be the first spacecraft to explore all three of these moons in one mission. NASA plans to launch the spacecraft in 2022 and will arrive in the Jovian system in 2029.

This mission is historic—it is the first to explore all three of Jupiter’s icy moons, and it will provide unprecedented insight into the formation of our solar system. JUICE will study the composition of each moon, as well as the environment around Jupiter and how the moons interact with each other.

We can’t wait to see what JUICE discovers! Stay tuned for more updates on the mission as we get closer to the launch date.
