In a first of its kind collaboration, historians and literary scholars are teaming up to explore the works of William Shakespeare. As part of a new project, scholars from the Universities of Oxford, Edinburgh, and Warwick have joined forces to focus on the playwright’s life, works, and influence in the past and present. The project, titled “Shakespeare in History,” will bring together literature and history in an effort to gain new insights into Shakespeare’s works. The project will include a series of seminars, lectures, and conferences, as well as an online resource center for the public. This is an exciting initiative that will bring together scholars from multiple disciplines to examine the life and works of one of the greatest writers of all time.
