China has unveiled plans to deploy a robotic vehicle to explore the surface of the moon’s far side. The vehicle, called the Hopper, will explore the interior of the moon’s south pole-Aitken basin, the largest and oldest crater in the solar system. The Hopper is equipped with six wheels and is expected to travel up to 500 meters per hour, making it the fastest lunar rover ever created.
