In a new study published in the Journal of Educational Psychology, researchers examined the barriers to implementing evidence-based practices in schools. The study found that one of the major obstacles is the lack of political will to prioritize these practices over other competing priorities. This raises the question: is political action necessary to bring about meaningful change in educational settings? Should evidence-based practices in schools be a priority for policymakers, and if so, how can we ensure that this translates into action? These are important questions to consider as we work towards creating better learning environments for our students.
