10 Years of Exploring Earth's Environment with NASA's STEREO A Spacecraft
For the past 13 years, NASA’s STEREO-A spacecraft has been providing us with amazing views of space and Earth. From its vantage point, located approximately 91 million miles away from Earth, the spacecraft has provided us with an unprecedented view of our planet and its space environment. From its unique position, STEREO-A has been able to capture incredible images of the Sun, Earth, and other planets in our Solar System. It has also allowed us to observe the movement of the Sun and its associated solar storms, as well as measure the mass and energy of the solar wind. With its 13 years of operation, STEREO-A has enabled us to better understand our place in the Universe.
