China Successfully Completes First Autonomous Quadcopter Sample Mission
A team of Chinese researchers have just unveiled a revolutionary new space mission that is set to launch in 2023. The mission involves a tiny quadcopter, called the “Feiyu-1” which will be sent to collect samples from the surface of the moon. This marks the first time a country has ever attempted to use a quadcopter in a space mission and is a huge milestone for space exploration. The quadcopter will be deployed from a lunar lander to fly around and collect surface samples that can be analyzed for signs of water or other valuable minerals. The mission is a key step towards establishing a permanent base on the moon and could be a major step forward in space exploration.
