Recent advances in proteomics have enabled researchers to take a closer look at the human body and its complex network of proteins. A new study published in the journal Nature has unveiled a “deep proteome atlas” of the human body, which provides an unprecedented level of detail into the complexity of the human system.

This new atlas maps out the entire human proteome, offering an in-depth view of the protein interactions and networks that support human health and disease. By analyzing tissue samples from 31 different organs, the research team was able to identify over 1,700 unique protein complexes, as well as over 5,000 tissue-specific proteins.
